I have been begging Mitch a few months now to let me start painting our house. We say we are going to do it every weekend but never seem to get to it. So when we decided we were going to have a "Girls Week" one of the first things that popped into my head was to get my mom and sister help me paint our entry way. I convinced them it was only going to take a day and that it would be fun. It WAS fun, but it took a lot longer than a day...Bulleted ListI knew I wanted to match a color that was in our rug down there, I had my color all picked out and then the stupid Sherwin guy told me that he had never heard of anyone doing this color and that it was probably ugly. mmmThanks. I was talked into buying a few samples and going home and testing them out.. I of course ended up choosing the color I wanted all along. ha! The day passed by quickly. Full of talking, laughs, dripping paint onto my tile, 97.1zht and rain.

Touching it up has taken A LOT longer and both Mitch and I can stand. Its going to take me forever to convince him to let me start our bedroom. But after all the hard work I am thrilled with the end result and LOVE the color. (take that sherwin dude)\
I realized while taking these after pictures that I never posted pictures of our cute little house. We have been here about 5 months now and LOVE it. I have realized that putting a house together is a sloooow process, but I am loving every minute of it..
Happy Monday!
