We took advantage of a lazy Sunday and slept in, it was heaven. We took our time getting ready and made our way to central park. We decided since our feet hurt from all the walking we had done the past few days that we wanted to see the park on a bike. We ended up renting a tandem bike.. it was so much fun!! Until our chain broke... once, twice, three times... FOUR times. We made it about 3/4 around the outside of the park with help of many very friendly men that stopped to help damsels in distress. After the fourth time we decided to very slowly cut through the park and return the bike early, which worked out in our favor, they comped us the bike rental and we went on our merry way. We found a nice spot on the great lawn and relaxed for about an hour until we decided to make our way down for some shopping in Soho and canal street.
(Thank you trusty Iphone for capturing Central Park for me.. I forgot my camera back at the apartment, heart break)
(camera back :) Happy Chelsey)
After shopping and a quick bite to eat we decided we were in the mood for chocolate. I had done the Serendipity thing so Tosh decided to take me to Max Brenner. Oh. my. goodness. I fell in love. The atmosphere, the desserts and my cute hug a mugs I purchased... loved it. I would even dare to say I liked it much more than Serendipity. If you are headed to NY anytime soon I would say check this place out.. I cant wait for the weather to cool down so Mitch and I can use our hug a mugs.
