When driving through Old Nauvoo the night before we noticed that one of the local Inns rented out beach cruisers. After raving about how much fun we had in Miami when we rented bikes it was easy to convince Austin and my parents it was a good idea. Oooh what fun we had. If Nauvoo wasn't perfect enough, riding around to all the sites on beach cruisers made it ten times better. We were all so sad when the night ended and we had to return the bikes.
After dropping off our bikes we headed to the General Store on main street to sleep for the night. We thought it would be a fun experience to spend the night right in Nauvoo. I have to say, staying at the Inn was the best idea. The view of the temple was breathtaking from our balcony and windows. It is one of my favorite memories from this trip.. a great night with the family.
