We flew out on Wednesday and stayed the night in St. Louis. The next morning we woke up early and headed into Nauvoo. We made it just in time to see Austin come out of the temple after baptizing all his friends. It was so very exciting to see how pumped he was and what a spiritual high he was on. We took a few pictures hugged a few times and let him go on his way, enjoy his last night with his friends. We then headed to a restaurant Austin had eaten at earlier and highly recommended (it was horrible) and we didn't let him forget it. We drove around Old Nauvoo a little more and then headed back to our hotel to head to bed early, we were all very exhausted from traveling.

Nauvoo Day 1
Austin had decided to go on Origination before receiving his mission call. We all figured he wouldn't leave until a few months after graduation and would have plenty of time to complete the tour. Well, surprise! The mission call came and Austin was leaving 2 weeks after his graduation.... only a week into the tour. We all wanted Austin to have this spiritual experience before heading into the MTC, that is when we had the brilliant idea to let him go and meet up with him in Nauvoo to pick him up and bring him home.
