With me having a few weeks off of work, we decided it was the perfect time to have Milo fixed.. We have procrastinated getting it done because of our work schedules, I wanted to be free so I could stay home and cuddle him all day after :) He is my baby. When taking him in for his big day we also mentioned to the Vet that his ears have had a terrible odor the past few weeks and we cant seem to keep them wax-free... asked him to check them out while Milo was knocked out.
After a long day for Mama we got to pick him up that evening.. to find out he has something growing in his ears, the worst the Vet has ever seen. He told us he would not have much pain from being neutered, more pain from the infection and swelling in his ears... after grabbing some very expensive meds (to hopefully prevent surgery) we are home and recovering... Milo has been a champ and only cried the first few days... now a week later he is almost 100% normal. Keeping our fingers crossed that the meds will take care of his ear and we get good news in 2 weeks.
If I am this sad over my pup getting bad news at the vet, I cant imagine what I will be like when its my child... heaven help me.

Basically I bawled after Boston's circ....and felt like the most horrible mom on Earth and vowed not to do it to my future boys. Please bless that I don't have any more boys.
