After a few months of my cousin Lizzie blogging about something called a "Birch Box"
I decided it was about time I checked it out for myself.
O.my.lanta. it was like Christmas morning when that little box arrived in the mail!
I love reading Lizzie and a few others reviews on the products they received that month.
Since it is now September and my next Birch Box will be on its way...
I guess its about time I reviewed my August products for you all.
Viva La Juicy: I already loved this perfume, so I was excited to get a little sample for my purse..
Pixi Beauty Lid Last Shadow Pen: I really liked the "Shell Sheen" color that I received. However I feel like you have to apply a lot for it to cover you whole lid and to show up. I feel like I would have to replace it or sharpen it constantly, I might like it more if I just used it to highlight areas.
Miss Jessie's Quick Curls: This was my favorite product I received! I try to only wash my hair every 3-4 days. I already have natural curl, but I feel like this product gives me extra volume. I put this in as soon as I have towel dried my hair and blown out my bangs, I then just let it air dry. For some reason the top layer of my hair never curls, so once its dry I add some curls, more products and I am ready to go for the day. If you look at this post, this product is how I achieved those curls.
Beauty Fixation Make Up Removers: I LOVED these. They were perfect for the little fixes you need to do.. I used them to remove mascara under my bottom lashes, as well as perfect my eyeliner line. I will be buying these in the future.. my mascara is one tough cookie to take off. This product had NO problem removing it in one little swipe.
Thats all folks, so fun right? I think you all should sign up for your own Birch Box and review right along with me each month. Thanks for the idea Lizzie, heaven sent!
For those of you that follow me on insta, I came very close to calling these monthly posts my "bitch box" posts... for my Nana's sake I wont :)
