Usually we would be bummed to have one of our birthdays fall on a Monday night... However, this year we decided there is no reason we shouldn't celebrate all weekend long :) Saturday we saw The Avengers, Mitch has been dying to see this movie since he heard rumors of it coming out.... turned out it was being released on his birthday weekend, perfect. Followed with lunch at Pei Wei... one of his favorites. Also the place I swore to never eat with chop sticks ever. again. Having a sliver in your throat is no fun.
Sunday we had a very relaxing day and enjoyed spending the evening at Mitch's parents having a big birthday dinner and ice cream cake :) After work on Monday (Mitch's actual birthday) we met up to celebrate with my parents by hitting Outback Steak House :)
He was a very spoiled guy... but deserved every ounce of it :)

oh gosh, a sliver in your throat?!?! oh no!! that sounds awful! did you scrap off the tops rubbing the chopsticks together?! that always helps with the slivers ;)
