THE SEARLES

There is just something about conference weekend that keeps me wishing every weekend was just as great.

Saturday was full of fun for us.. We listened to the first session on the radio as we drove up to City Creek. I had been up there earlier in the week but Mitch was just as anxious as I was to go back up.. We soon regretted our decision once conference was let out at 12... packed. But we had gotten most of our shopping in and were ready to head home for the second session. Saturday night Mitch headed off to Priesthood Session with his Dad and brother as I headed off for a GNO with the Clyde girls. We enjoyed dinner and the movie Mirror Mirror. I love these girls... I was a total slacker and forgot my camera, thank goodness for the trusty iphone.

Conference was great, I expecially enjoyed President Uchtdorf's talk on judging, Stop It. We spent the morning session over at Searles with a very yummy bruch, thanks again Diana. And then the second session lounging at my parents. Saturday was our good friend Luke's birthday.. we headed over to the Smiths for the remainder of the night to celebrate this old man :)
