On the second date of Christmas my true love and I..... went to The Festival of Trees.
I have always enjoyed going and walking around the Festival of Trees. This year was extra special. Our close friends the Smiths entered a tree in remembrance of their son Jacob. On Aug 8, 1998 Jacob and his brother were struck by a train. Jacob died instantly, he was 14 years old.
Along with Jacobs LEGO tree... the whole expo center is filled of trees, wreaths, ginger bread houses and quilts. I loved seeing all the creativity, it amazes me what some people will come up with.
