As always, the annual Clyde Halloween party was a hit.
I feel like this might have been all our most creative year yet...
We had everything from Woody & Buzz to The Adams Family.
Mitch and I went as Mary Poppins and the Chimney Sweeper...
I believe it topped the charts for us.
Thanks Papa Smurf and Mama Smurf for keeping this party going... its a favorite.

Happy Halloween!

Its been awhile since I have been around the blog world.... Life is crazy and time is flying. Photography is keeping me very busy. Whether its shooting a cute family, finding a location or editing... my time is consumed. On the flip side, work has been nothing but slow. Making me want to pull my hair out. By the time 5 comes I want to be home exercising or sitting in front of the TV... depending on how that day went.

I had all these fun things in store for the month of October and I feel like time has just slipped away... Dont get me wrong, we have had great moments..... drives up the canyon to see the pretty leaves and date nights with friends. And then not so great times.... including the one time we went up the canyon and wrecked my car :(

Im looking forward to this coming Halloween weekend. I have set some aside some time to just enjoy the weekend instead of running around with my head chopped off. We have our annual Clyde Halloween party... and I couldn't be more excited for our costumes this year. Im sure a full post with pictures will be coming soon...
Until then, have yourself your own Jolly Holiday weekend.

I had to post this for my wonderful Husband.. who HATES walking through the stores and already seeing Christmas decorations.... Now there is 1 reason you can like Nordstroms :)

I was surprised to wake up this morning and say "oh my gosh its already Thursday" ... It has been a VERY fast & productive week.. I have tried hard to focus on one area of our house that needs to be deep cleaned ... tackling one a night. I am proud to say our tub has NEVER looked better. Now if only there was a easy way to clean blinds... they are the devil.

Last night we were feeling like we needed to get into the Halloween Spirit. While trying to come up with what we were going to do we received a text from Sadee wanting to know if we were feeling up to Nightmare on 13th. We grabbed Joe and Mav and headed up to meet with them. Sadly being 6 months prego and haunted houses dont mix. Sadee was not allowed to enter. So the 6 of us were off to face the Zombies, Spiders, Ghost and horrible chainsaw dudes alone..

I think Mitch screamed like a girl more than I did.... My plan of holding onto Mitch and staring straight into Mav's back the whole time worked like a charm.. I think I got my "getting scared" bone out of me for the season...
High five to whoever can spot the difference first.....
These guys were pretty good sneaking up on you, snarling in your ear and chasing Joe.
We ended the night by enjoying cheesecake and Cheesecake Factory... DEAD tired we made it home by about 1:30. We felt wild! Our bedtime is usually 10. Woo.

During the Saturday sessions of conference we decided to get out of the house and listen on the radio... Our little adventure took us on a drive up the canyon to see the leaves changing through Heber and Park City.. I dont know how many times I have said this on this blog.. but I LOVE fall. The leaves are beautiful and over half have not even started to change yet... It was wonderful being out enjoying our surroundings while listening to our leaders. I am so very excited for the new temples. I LOVE President Monson, that guys facial expressions crack me up.. Conference weekend was wonderful. I am already looking forward to the Spring session... lets just hope Fall and the Holidays dont pass too fast :)

In addition to enjoying Conference we also enjoyed yummy Dairy Keen and a lil Shopping... HOW could I pass through Heber without a Raspberry Coke with crushed ice? divine.

The night the men head off to Priesthood Session has to be one of my most looked forward to nights of the year. Last year we kicked off October by heading up to Gardner Village for Witchfest. This year we decided to make it a tradition... we got a few more of the ladies to join us :) Our night started out eating at Blue Lemon.. I had never been there before and was surprised with how much I liked it... The rest of the night was followed by walking around Gardner Village enjoying the atmosphere and being with my favorite ladies... (and Mac who was a big trooper the whole night) I will let the pictures do the talking...

Yay! Welcome October! My favorite month of the year!!
