When I told Mitch I wanted to spend our Saturday walking through random homes all over Utah Valley he was not too thrilled. However, the good sport he is, he went along with it...
The first few homes were quite a treat for me. Remarks out of Mitch's mouth included "We cant just walk in, we don't even know them"... "Chelsey, dont just walk into their bedroom!" ... "Wont the owners be mad?" He eventually caught on.... 1. take off your shoes 2. "Ooo" & "Aww" at everything your wife points out
Now we just need about a million dollars to build our dream home. I kid. However, I wont lie, I was a little nervous to go. I was afraid I would walk away from the day hating our house.. wanting something bigger and better. Instead I left with thoughts like "Why in the world do you need that many bedrooms?" or "I would NEVER want to clean that one"... I walked away with a positive attitude on projects we can do ourselves to make our lil home our "dream home" for the place we are at in our lives right now..... And NO, No matter how many times Mitch will beg.. we do not need our own personal golf course in our basement.

After making it through Provo, Orem, Lindon, PG, Highland and Alpine I had to tell Mitch...
"No more houses tonight!"
"No more houses tonight!"

Haha...good luck with the golf course argument :) My issue will just be why we can't have tv's on every wall in the basment like that Provo home :)
My BIL is a lanscape architect and he worked on some house in the Parade - the lady went $100,000.00 over budget just ON HER TILE!!! That is insane- and yes that is one hundred thousand dollars over on tile alone- I didn't ask how much total she was over. I didn't go but my SILs and nieces and oldest daughter did. I feel about that is that it can make one unsatisfied with what they have.
