THE SEARLES

Enjoying our run around the temple last night we were caught off guard when we see a car zoom past us.. shortly followed by multiple cop cars, ambulances, fire trucks and a dozen witnesses all rushing to this terrible accident.

For the next two hours rumors were passed around, cars stopped and wanted to know what happened. And all of us devastated for the families that would not have their Dad return home that night.

My mind cant seem to focus on anything else today. 5 minutes (if that) of fun and then your life is over. Innocent driver not wearing a seat belt, results in life flight. Life is so fragile, so short.

My heart breaks for the families involved. What a sad night. I was so very grateful to get in my car and safely drive home. Hug my husband, and wake up this morning.
