Mitchell's grandma passed away this last weekend. Mitch was able to be in the room in her last moments, for that... We are very grateful. She was a wonderful, witty lady who we will all miss.
Linda Stuart Sondrup1940 ~ 2011
Linda Stuart Sondrup, 70, was born April 23, 1940 in Midvale, Utah to William Morris and Wanda Grace Sorensen Stuart. After fighting a short and courageous battle with Alzheimer's, she passed away on Thursday February 24, 2011 surrounded by her loving family.
Linda was raised in Midvale and graduated from Jordan High in 1958. Her careers included modeling for ZCMI and working in education. She was a devoted mother and homemaker and enjoyed boating and camping with family.
She married Robert Lynn Searle and was blessed with four wonderful children. She was later divorced and married her sweetheart, James Lawrence Sondrup on October 11, 1986 and spent 24 wonderful married years.
She is survived by her husband Jim; four children: Trent (Diana) Searle, Cedar Hills; Stacie (Ronnie) Wyatt, Orem; Wendy (Todd) Page, Lehi; Robyn Clark, American Fork; step-children: Todd Sondrup, Tracy Sondrup, and Sheri Houston; 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; mother, Wanda Stuart and her brother, Morris Stuart. Her father, William, preceded her in death.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at 12:00 noon in the Lindon City Cemetery. Friends and family may attend viewings both on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove and also on Tuesday from 10-11:30 a.m. prior to services.
