Day 2

Our 2nd day was spent at the wonderful Universal Studios. (which yes, includes the Harry Potter Theme Park. but, come on. THAT deserves a post all to itself) I will be completely honest. I had a very hard time "getting into" Universal Studios. Maybe it was because Im not a huge Marvel fan, or the fact that it was freezing and we didnt want to go on any -wet- rides.. including some of my favorites, Jurassic Park and Jaws. Nonetheless we enjoyed our day... Besides spending a few hours in the HP park.. we spent the day walking around trying each and every "Marvel" roller coaster. Including: The Incredible Hulk and Spider-man... We also enjoyed many 3-D AND 4D shows... my favorite being Shrek in 4D. This was also the first day that our cousins were able to join us. It was very fun being able to hang out with them and an added bonus that they know ALL the ins-and-outs of the parks. Its very useful. It ALSO happened to be the day that we basically bumped elbows with Celine Dion, might be on my 10 ten favorite moments in my life. Love her.

 

That night we kept up with our "themed" dinners and enjoyed a very yummy Luau at my parents resort. We enjoyed a very entertaining show as we ate. How those guys don't burn themselves is beyond me. And if only I could learn to shake my hips like those girls...
