Mockingjay-SPOILER.

After being glued to my book most of the weekend I have finally finished Mockingjay. It took me much longer to get through this book. The first two I could not put down, this one I had to keep forcing myself to read because I wanted to know the ending.

1. I kept getting bored and depressed.


2. I HATED how she made Peeta in this one. I LOVE him. I was so sad that him and katniss basically hated each other throughout the whole book.


3. I actually liked Gale in this one. However I wish she would have killed him off in the end. I didnt like how he was so protective of of Katniss through the whole book and then all of a sudden their friendship is just over and he is gone. Would have been much better if he would have died.


4. I love Prim, and Im so happy we saw a lot more of her in this book, so sad she killed her off. sad.


5. After the bombs in the Capitol went off I thought Katniss was in a dream for at least 2 chapters. I had to go back and reread like 3 times so I could fully understand.


6. MESSED UP that Katniss voted in favor for the Hunger Games. thats the whole stinkin reason they were against the capitol.. for controlling and forcing them to kill.


7. SHE NEEDED TO KILL SNOW. I guess Im still a little confused with the whole Coin issue, but the whole series focuses on Snow and how much she hates him.. Which made me hate him. I was so mad when she didnt kill him and he just died from laughing or whatever.


8. I am happy with how it ended.. but I thought the WHOLE book was leading up to overturning the capitol and killing snow... and all of a sudden BAM everything is perfect, Katnis and Peeta are in love and live happily ever after...


9. If I would have written the ending... Peeta would have remembered his love for Katniss WAY before the last chapter, giving us enough time to warm back up to them together without Gale being in the way... he would have helped her kill snow... Gale would have died... Peeta and Katniss would have gone back and rebuilt 12.. THEN she could write about them having kids and being in love.

BUT overall, it was a GREAT series.. and I would read it again for sure. Cant wait for the movies.
