Winner Winner Chicken Dinner... or not.

Wow. What a weekend.
At the last minute we decided to drive down to St. George and watch Missy play for the bronze medal at the Utah Summer Games. Her team had rough game and ended up walking away without a medal. bummer. But Miss still played awesome and we were so happy we were able to go down and support her.
Mitch and I decided to make it a mini-trip and swing on down to Vegas for a night.(knowing their is an H&M down there I was all for it) We had a great time walking the strip and shopping. I find it so funny that 2 hours away from humble-sheltered-Utah youend up in Sin City where everywhere you look your eyes see something you would have never expected.

Since Mitch is now 21 I was prepared for him wanting to spend some time in the casinos. To my surprise I had to beg him to do one dollar slot. He ended up putting the dollar in and then just hitting all the buttons. Not a good idea. He ended up getting our machine to flash and the attendee motioned over to us. Long story short, Mitch casually ran away from the machine as to not be embarrassed by the attendee asking him what the crap he was doing.. HA good memories. I am totally fine my husband is not into that sort of thing.. more money for shopping :)
(he was so humiliated I wanted to take this picture. Told me we totally look like tourist. bah! Im bringing him a Fannie Pack next trip)

Around 11 I was totally find to head back to the hotel I can only take so much of all the drunks, cross dressers, mini Elvis, creepy Michael Jackson and all the "call cards". Although I was a little peeved to find out the pool/hot tub closed at 10pm. In VEGAS? Just didn't make sense to me.

Chelsey-you know that Mitch is too practically and good with his money to waste it on gambling!!!! When did you change your hair? It's cute!!!!

Your hair is red?! That's the exact color I've been wanting to do...but I don't think I ever will cause my hair grows out WAYYY too fast and I'll get strange regrowth. Yours looks super cute though, love it! And no worries- my hubby isn't a fan of gambling either. :)
