When I was little....

I thought I was a real princess

I dreamed of what I would be for Halloween all year long.

I would stare up at the clouds in hopes that I might see a Care BearI wanted to be a cosmetologist just like my mom. Practiced on my Fisher Price hair shop.

I couldnt wait to be 17 so that I could be married and have babies.

I LOVED McDonald's Happy Meals.

I would close the door and pretend I was Sandy from Grease and sing myheart out to "Your the One I want" and "Summer Nights"

I HATED when my brother watched Scooby-Doo. I got so scared.

My cousin Nicole was my bestest friend (still is)

I could watch any given Disney movie over and over.

I LOVED my Skip-It

I found this blog that took me down memory lane...
Gave me a good laugh..
Here are a few of my favorites.

Take a look and let me know what sparks your memory.

My cousins had a Creepy Crawler machine. I made a spider (including a red spot on it's tummy which made it a Black Widow) and hid it in funny places to scare my mom. I always waited with delight to hear her scream. Then she would hang on to it and she would hide it somewhere in my stuff and then wait with delight for MY scream! We did this back and forth for years. In fact, while I was on my mission she sent me a Taco Seasoning Mix. She actually slit open the pkg, slipped in the spider and glued it shut. Too bad she couldn't hear my ear piercing scream all the way from England when my little friends fell into the pan of hamburger, but I know she was waiting in delight for my letter to hear all about my "surprise". I rewarded her by sending her a tin of cookies where I had hidden the spider in the second layer of cookies! Sad end to the story, though, is that neither of us knows what happened to the spider. But we sure had a lot of fun with that dumb thing.
