Cosmo broke his back and we were basically given the ultimatum to put him down or do surgery.. The surgery only had a 50/50 chance that he would walk again. Needless to say we were all a mess Sunday night. We got a second opinion and my parents decided to do the surgery. He is only 5 years old! we believe thats too young to be put down..

The surgery was a success.. They told us he would probably have to stay in ICU for a week... he was home 2 days later. Its going to be a long 6 week recovery but he is able to walk a little with some support and I already see a big difference. Breaks our hearts that he was in so much pain for so long. So grateful he is improving at a fast rate.. We love you Cosmo.
