Saturday morning we decided to give milo a bath and trim up his "bangs" a little. Normally after baths he is pretty upset with his parents and just wants to sleep it off...
He was laying on our bed almost asleep when he started to cry. I would glance out from our bathroom and he would just be laying there. I thought he was just "pouting" so I continued to do my hair and ignore him. But he continued to cry. So I yelled to Mitch to come love him a little. Long story short.. He did not want to be touched at all. We would come near him and he would bolt away.. rub his head on the floor and cry. We decided to watch him because we knew if we overreacted and went to the vet we would get the "ER weekend" charge. By 11:30pm I was DONE watching. We took him into the vet.. 2 hours later we walked out $220 dollars poorer and with a sack full of ear infection drops.
Sunday was Kyle's misson farewell. He did such an amazing job on his talk. And it was really fun to be around Mitch's whole family for the day...
We continued to keep a close eye on Milo.. and as the day progressed he did not seem to be improving at all.. in fact he seemed to be getting worse. But this time he was VERY concerned about his lilMan parts and bum. He would take about 4 steps and then roll up in a ball and not want to move. cry. and constantly "check" on himself. And of course we grew more and more concerned. But as we knew it would be another fee for going into the vet.. 5pm rolled around and Milo would not move. BACK to the petER we went... $250 dollars poorer.. 2 xrays later.. and a gassy dog later we were home. Its very frustrating that after $500 they can not tell you what is wrong with your pet... I was up all night last night with him. Poor dog is so uncomfortable and in pain. Hopefully whatever it is will ease off him soon.
ON a positive note.. We did celebrate our 1st year anni on Friday after I finished up with my heart tests.. (thank goodness we didnt go away anywhere..) We just did a little shopping, ate at P.F. Changs and ate the top of our wedding cake. We really have come far in a year. Im very excited to see what the next year has in store for us.
